1) Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions the words and expressions below shall have the following meanings:

'the Customer' The person, firm or company or other body who requests the supply of HR and/or Training Services or Materials and/or who places an order which is accepted by the Company.

'Supply' Provision of HR and Training Services and Materials whether by way of sale or hire or for the purposes of preview. 'Supplied' shall be construed accordingly.

'Training Materials' Any booklet, Staff Handbook, Management Administration Guide, or other materials supplied to the Customer by the Company.

'Conditions' The terms and conditions outlined in this document.

'Contract' The contract between the Company and the Customer for the Supply of HR and Training Services or Materials.

'Writing' includes, but is not limited to, telex facsimile transmission and comparable means of communication.


2) Copyright

The copyright in the content of these websites pages ("the Information") belongs to HR Initiatives Ltd. Copying any part or all of the contents of the Information in any form is prohibited other than in accordance with the following permissions:

i) You may view these pages on screen.

ii) You may print or download to your local hard disk extracts of the Information for your personal use only

iii) You may re-copy extracts of the Information to individual third parties for their personal information, but only if:

While HR Initiatives Ltd endeavours to ensure that the Site is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

HR Initiatives Ltd may terminate or suspend any User's access to all or part of the Website, without notice at its discretion if they believe the User is in violation of any applicable law or is harmful to the interests of the Company, another User, a third-party or a service provider.

User's access to this site is only permitted on the basis of their acceptance of the terms of this disclaimer and their continued access to the Website is deemed to constitute acceptance.

At HR Initiatives Ltd we understand the importance of maintaining and protecting your privacy. With this in mind we have set out below details of our privacy policy for your information.

Our intention is to collect and use such Personal Information as is reasonably necessary to enable you to make the most of the activities available on our Website. We may also use your Personal Information for dealing with enquiries, tailoring our service to your requirements and preferences, market research, competitions and to keep records of traffic flows to the site. Occasionally, we may also wish to use your Personal Information to inform you about goods, services, promotions or competitions that we think may interest you. 6) Prices

All prices quoted are valid for 30 days only from the date of the quote, or until the earlier placing of an order by the Customer after which the Company reserves the right to alter them without giving notice to the Customer.

Unless otherwise stated, the price is exclusive of any applicable value added tax or other tax or duties payable by the Customer. 

The price is exclusive of the cost of packing and despatching Training Materials to the Customer, which will be the subject of an additional charge to the Customer. For details of dispatch and delivery please click here.


7) Payment

The Customer will pay HR Initiatives Ltd the full cost of the services or materials, in addition to any post and packaging charges when placing the order.


8) Delivery

HR Initiatives will only supply Training Materials to companies or customers with addresses within the United Kingdom.

Delivery dates mentioned within the website or on any quotation or acceptance of order or elsewhere are approximate only and not of any contractual effect and the Company shall not be under any liability to the Customer in respect of any failure to deliver on any particular date or dates.

The HR or Training Materials shall be despatched by the Company to the Customer by carrier or ordinary first class mail at the Company's discretion and unless otherwise agreed between the parties and shall be deemed to have been delivered two clear working days after such dispatch.


9)Return of Materials

HR Initiatives Ltd will not refund to businesses the cost of materials purchased on this Website - including, but not limited to - booklets, guides and staff handbooks.

HR Initiatives Ltd will refund to consumers the cost of materials purchased on this site if they are returned to HR Initiatives Ltd, 18 The Hedgerows, Stevenage, Herts, SG2 7BW within 7 days of purchase and/or receipt and if the cellophane wrapping has not been broken.

All refunds will be made in the same form of payment used to purchase the item. We will notify you by e-mail when the refund is made.


This policy may be updated from time to time and we advise you to check it regularly so that you are aware of any changes.
